  • Dream Room Should Be On Sale Now JUST LIKE THE REAL LIFE ROOM!

I just caught wind of a new report from WDW. Apparently, you can rent the Cinderella Suite in the castle for $2,000 a night. Originally, they said the room wasn't going to be for sale and be exclusive to contest winners. However, a high demand to stay even one night in the room and a want for profit has overturned this original design concept.

That said, I believe VMK should do the same thing. For some insanely high price (100,000 just to be obnoxious about it), we should be able to buy the Dream Castle Suite from the stores. The price would also justify having it come with one bed and the fireplace that originally comes with the room as well. In other words, 100,000 credits will get you the room, a bed, and the fireplace in one single purchase.

I'll try to send this suggestion to the Contact Us link at least once a week until they do it, but I would like some feedback on this idea.

OH, and for all those people that are going to attack me that my suggestion is built on me being bitter about not getting what I would have liked to have gotten from the Dream Month last month, save it for another thread. This thread isn't about me being bitter about not getting a Dream Room. This thread is about making VMK similar to WDW in one little respect. You guys have done the same thing about not being able to ride the Matterhorn or Splash Mountain logs, and look what you can do now? You have Alice and Peter Pan to ride on. No reason why I can't be able to buy an expensive guest room that was originally part of some contest/random event/exclusively given out to very few people.

That depends, can you afford to spend 2,000U$ a night on a room?

The average VMK player's family probably can't do that. And like the Quest Kiosk costing 40,000 credits, a room that comes with furniture already in it priced at 100,000 credits is something to save and work for.

I think your idea is great, they should definitely put the Castle
Suite on sale. But the price you said (100,000) is a little much in my
opinion, I think it should be from 10,000 to 20,000. :ctongue:

So half of what a Quest Kiosk is going for? I think not.

The 100,000 credit price tag is suppose to mimmic the $2,000 a night rental fee for the actual room, as well as keep the room "rare" so that there won't be any of that I-got-ripped-off complaining that always happens when VMK re-releases something like the Minnie Hat (which you know is going to happen again soon) or the various Princess dresses.

Sounds like an excellent idea to me... and I agree, the pricetag should stay quite high. If you aren't/weren't lucky enough to win this particular 'dream'... then the alternative for reaching your dreams is really hard work which a high price tag would mimic in the virtual world. And I think it should definitely have a higher price than the quest kiosk.

I didn't get a thing from the dreams month - so it would be nice to be able to buy something.

I think that is a good idea, and the price seems fair to me. Of course I'll have to save up a lot ... but it would be well worth it!

I don't think the Cinderella Suite is for sale right now. Although after the Year of a Million Dreams is over, they might start renting it out in the years to come.

Besides, $2000? The prize is only valued at around a little over $500.

So I don't think VMK is going to sell it either anytime soon.

Not that much. It shouldn't be more than a quest kiosk I think. (30K) It should be something like 10K..
