    Thanksgiving on VMK?

    I thought I had read on a few websites that VMK kind of does some stuff for thanksgiving I was wondering do they do things for this holiday or not? I was hoping that the newsletter would give an idea if anything would go on for Thanksgiving but I guess the newsletter has not come out quite yet since I still see stuff mostly talking about Halloween still. I just joined VMK this year and was kind of hit by surprise by Halloween lol did not save my credits up the way I should have this year to get stuff. But hopefully I have learned my lesson and I will be saving up more for Christmas so I can actually by all the things I want to get lol and get more rare items.
    Anyway was just wondering if VMK did anything for Thanksgiving since, I had no clue just how many holidays VMK actually participates in.

    Well, that's a very good question! VMK participated in the holidays, valentines day, Thanksgiving, July 4, New years, and halloween for certain.

    For Thanksgiving lastyear, they sold a pin It was for 1000 credits and I hope they sell it again :roll:

      Yea like Kanga said they sold a Thanksgiving '06 Pin last year. But as far as i can remember, besides a few HOST room activities that was all they did. I hope they have the pin come out this year again, although without a Halloween '07 Pin it's doubtful they will have a Thanksgiving one.

        Thank You! lol yeah I am totally loving VMK get on every day after I get out of my classes to check things out Halloween was a blast. Can't wait for Christmas.

          Yes, and the pin was available not just Thanksgiving day but through the entire weekend as well. It's pretty cute and matches the look of the other holiday pins from that time frame as well.

            Doesn't VMK also celebrate Hanuka, St.Patrick's day too? lol I keep seeing people online that have holiday items and some of em are from what we would call smaller holiday too lol so I guess its a bit surprising

              i know they celebrate for hanuka(sp?) and i THINK saint patrics day. Last year for Hanuka, they had presents, with the candles on top. For Saint Patrics day last year, i believe they were selling clover pins. When was the mad hatter hat released? I was thinking the MHH was released then, but i dont have one so i'm not completely sure Anyone else care to clarify?

                lol is it just me or have they already released the Thanksgiving Pin? I saw a new pin in the emporium today which I ended up going and buying and it looked like might have been a thanksgiving pin since Mickey was dressed as a pilgram on it I think, but some how I don't think it is it said fall on it..would the Thanksgiving one say Thanksgiving some how?
