Eh, it's fine, got a free game (which came in the mail yesterday).

I'll just go out and buy SMG before Christmas.

^^ yay a Wii RPG by the people who did Eternal Sonata. Who knows when it is coming out, but it's somewhere in the future :P

I coulda sworn that people were not happy with an early build of this game, mostly citing the control scheme (actually now that I'm doing a search, more recent previews of the game say that it is fun, with some of them mentioning semi-unhappiness with the control scheme). It seems that whatever issues they were having, they were solved in later builds.
Yeah, the controls were funky. They were fixed VERY fast.

Thats lame that they cancelled your Mario order. And about the Smash controls, you can use the Gamecube controller, Classic Controller, Wiimote, or Wiimote and Nunchuck.

Looks like my Rayman is free afterall.

Just got an email from Toys R Us that they cancelled Super Mario Sunshine due to stock shortages. And Rayman is still on it's way.

That's odd because I saw SMS in EVERY store I went to this weekend. I didn't think they were having shortages on the game at all.

    Oh well.

Wii, where are your role-playing games? Dear lord.... just one good one is all I ask for. (Then again, I can ask the same question to my Ps3).
Negative reaction? The earliest demo was this September and all the feedback has been very positive. If you haven't already been visiting, www.smashbros.com has updates every day, the game is a total fan service. As for me, I didn't do this deal because I already have all the games I want.

Fire Emblem is a strategy game I thought. Super Paper Mario was more puzzle/platformer than RPG but..... really, I'd like a "straight" rpg on there

The lady working at my TRU told my mom and I we could get "stand in" games and come back within 30 (?) days and exchange them for games we want (as long as they were sealed).

I found out yesterday that they were also offering this in store. But by the time I got to my local store only the boring games were left. They did have a lot of Super Mario Galaxy but nothing else I wanted.

Seems all the 'good' games are sold out or temporarily unavailable...hmmmm sure sounded good though.

I got Super Mario Galaxy on the deal. Must be an availability thing.

Crap, it shows back-ordered now. Hopefully it will come in before Christmas, or I won't be too happy.

Funny thing though ... the deal was buy 2 get 1 free. I got Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brothers and Rayman 2.

Well, I took off Super Smash brothers, but it still allowed me to get Rayman 2 for free. So now, I paid roughly $57 for 2 games.

But get this, they don't charge your card until they ship. Well, Rayman (the free game) has been shipped and Mario Galaxy is back-ordered.

So technically, I could now cancel Mario Galaxy and get Rayman for free. (I won't, but I 'could')

Somebody messed up at Toys R Us.

Good Idea! I'll put Mario in the naitivity scene.

Thanks Chern. I'll check out the deal again after I get unannoyed.

^ Some of the games aren't available online for some reason.

I'm trying this out but it is saying "game currently not available". Is there a trick to this or am I just stuck with crummy games?
