Hey peeps,

Just wanted to give you a heads-up on a great deal Toys R Us is offering. Buy 2 Wii games and get 1 free (online only).

Just got the new Super Smash Bros, Super Mario Galaxy and Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 for $100. The kids will be quite happy on Christmas.

Not a bad deal if you ask me.

Super Mario Galaxy is already out. Rayman 2 is I believe this week and Super Smash Bros. is December 3rd.

I just wanted to get my order in for Smash Bros. since it's going to be a hot game.

sorry to say this sir clinksalot, but it was announced in october that the release date was changed to allow the developers more time to work on the project, February 10th

He probably meant pre-ordering it...as I think once the game is released...it's gonna be hard as heck to get a copy without a preorder...at least for awhile, anyway. ^^;

Nawwwww if Super Mario Galaxy was easy to find the day after release, I doubt Smash Brothers would have problems.

Thanks for the link Mr. Clinks (and great to see you guys at the Park the other nite, that was so random!). I'm thinking Rayman 2, Smash Bros and.... well I gotta look at that list sometime when I'm not rushing off to work

I think I'll wait on Super Smash Bros till I read a review of the final product though -- I seem to recall that early demos of the game garnered a negative reaction. I'm sure a lot of it has been retooled since then, but still.... I have video games coming out my hoo-haw so I can wait on that one

Wii, where are your role-playing games? Dear lord.... just one good one is all I ask for. (Then again, I can ask the same question to my Ps3).

Twilight Princess isn't bad. And I think they're making a good DragonQuest and a FinalFantasy CrystalChronicles. Nights isn't an RPG, but that will be my next one since I was a huge fan of the Saturn version. I'll eventually get Smash Bros. and Soul Caliber too. But you're right, they could use a few more RPGs. They already have plenty of party games, but I guess that's probably it's major selling point.

Twilight Princess was great, but it is not an rpg. It is a 3rd person action/puzzle game.

Dragon Quest Swords (there are 2 coming out) still have a "TBA 2008" release date listed, which probably means later rather than sooner.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for the Gamecube I picked up for about 15 minutes before realizing it was completely lame. I hope that the Wii one is something actually new, with a storyline and some semblance of a Final Fantasy game.

I got Super Mario Galaxy on the deal. Must be an availability thing.

Crap, it shows back-ordered now. Hopefully it will come in before Christmas, or I won't be too happy.

Funny thing though ... the deal was buy 2 get 1 free. I got Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brothers and Rayman 2.

Well, I took off Super Smash brothers, but it still allowed me to get Rayman 2 for free. So now, I paid roughly $57 for 2 games.

But get this, they don't charge your card until they ship. Well, Rayman (the free game) has been shipped and Mario Galaxy is back-ordered.

So technically, I could now cancel Mario Galaxy and get Rayman for free. (I won't, but I 'could')

Somebody messed up at Toys R Us.
