    Ever heard of this?

Well, I sure have. It does look a tad bloody, but amazing too.

No More Heroes is about a guy who kills another person for a date with a hot chick, and finds out he is now the 11th best assassin in the world. Now, he tries to kill the other 10.

It has great humor, action, and a good plot. Its quite deeper than my summary shows.

Another way to look at it is you get to use a fake light saber.

If the controls are handled correctly then I'm all over this one.

      ^ agreed.

It's all about the control scheme.

While I didn't think the controls in Red Steel were necessarily bad, they could have used some refining. But it was a good start.

It was the story which really made that one suck.

(and yes, I realize it's a different studio)

It has 1:1 ratio movements to a fine limit. By swinging it a certain way, it triggers an attack., But when you don't swing it that way, his arms move in relation to yours.

How's the voice acting? I'm probably going to pick it up (if you want something other than Mario or mini-games, you pretty much have to) but I'm just wondering how the voice acting is. Some of the previews I saw have laughingly bad voice acting. Just wondering what you thought.

I think it has some good voice acting for a game, myself.

isn't some of the voice acting deliberately over the top and slightly cheesy in order to build on the style and characters?

I mean this is a studio that's HUGE on style and over the top characters

Exaaaactly. The games over the top violence, voice acting, and japanese references are all highly subtle (to some) satires to japanese culture.
