  • Another RCT3 Question

I did get a GeForce graphics card installed and had 500 MB of RAM installed on my computer. Now things are working MUCH better and I can finally turn on all the effects ! I like the reflections on water, the water running down the screen when it rains, etc.

But I still have some beef with the Windows Movie Maker program when it comes to making my movies. I like the program, but I wanted to know if there were any better programs out there that I can make my RCT3 movies with?

I mean, when I first record the rides and play them with my WMA player, the video is very sharp and clear. But after I import the video into MovieMaker and have it saved to my computer, the video comes out being less sharp and a little bit blurry. I tried saving it to my computer in different video formats, but it does not enhance the quality and sharpness of anything. Does anyone know why?

Does anyone know if there are any good, affordable Movie Making programs that I can buy? Is there anything out there that I can install on my PC that produces good quality videos? Or am I just stuck with MovieMaker?

There is a free program called WAX, from debug mode that you can download. It is a fairly good program and has 3 times as many effects/options as WMM. It can be tircky at first but overall its a good program to do small scale projects.

Video editing softwares can get pretty expensive, I use one now called Adobe Premiere, and also Sony Vegas... but those are fairly expensive, however you can get trial versions of many of these that will let you edit video footage before it expires.

How much did you pay for those programs?

I was thinking about going to Wal-Mart on Friday to see if they had anything to offer there too.

I got Adobe Premiere for about $449

Sony Vegas I got for free... but it runs around the same.

There are also smaller programs avaliable for use with less features etc, they can be down to as low as 50 bucks.
