This is why you always have to be careful with trading credits. Use my method:
        When trading someone with credits:

        1. Add to friends list even if just for trading. So they can not get away.
        2. Write down the person title and the item or credit amounts involved so you can accurately report if anything goes wrong.
        3. Always do the credits first or get your item first which ever implies to you. Unless you can trust the person
        4. If you are giving the credits do this. Have a secret word. Let the person start the quest. Trade them let them give you the item and when you both have accepted tell them the word. Both will be satisfied and nobody will be scammed.
        5. If it's too good to be true it probably is. "Quoted directly from VMK site."
        6. Becareful you never know when you are going to be scammed so pay attention!
        7. OPTIONAL: If possible take screen shots if you feel unsafe. Than you have visible proof to show staff right away.

Just a reminder that we do not post players names on here, just to be fair to them. Thank you.

                Re: New Scammer Alert!

I've also found it easier to have friends in the room while conducting a big trade (stitch, sparrow, etc.). Just incase anything should go wrong, you have other eye witnesses in the room - as Pink said, you want to keep their name handy so you don't misspell it while reporting.
I always say if you're gonna trade, make sure if credits are involved, you're getting your part first - whether it be the credits or items. I always feel safer when I have my stuff in my possession - usually a scammer will be more about "you go first". Obviously if someone is going to try to scam you, they're not gonna give up their end first.
I guess it's good to have them on your friend list, but deleting someone is only a click away. They can take your items, leave, and delete you off the list before you realize what happened.
I'm sure most of us use VMK Pal - so visual proof is a must. I always take pictures of trades, and if you need to go through contact us, you can always provide links to these pictures from a host site such as photobucket.com.

Hope these tips help! (even though most have already been noted)
                Have fun trading

One think I would suggest is to not trade all the items at once, break the trade down, that way if you are going to be scammed at least it only for one item.
