  • So which has better graphics? 360 or PS3?

Gamespot would tell you they are about the same

A solid year's gone by since we ran our last Xbox 360 vs. PlayStation 3 graphics comparison. The differences between the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 have diminished with every passing batch of games, but some variation still exists between the two machines. Our first graphics comparison between the two consoles showed that the Xbox 360 looked better on most of the games, oftentimes drastically so. The second graphics comparison showed that the PlayStation 3 looked nearly as good as the Xbox 360 in some games, and actually looked better in a few as well. Now with both consoles well into their respective life cycles, developers have had plenty of time to figure out the nuances required to code beautiful games. With our third batch of games, the two machines seem evenly matched. The two trade blows on various games, each with its own set of advantages.

I think this is what happens when you don't necessarily have a clear winner - devs end of focusing on the common ground between platforms rather then necessarily spending endless type optimizing.

Between this, XBL, and the speed of the blu-ray player - I'm glad I stuck with a 360.

Yea I chose the 360 too, but will be purchasing a PS3 very soon for the Blu-Ray Player (since its the cheapest one available). But I agree as far as what I've seen, they are very evenly matched. However the 360 has better exclusive titles and doesn't require a install for larger games like the PS3 does which is mainly due to the slow blu-ray.
    Everybody's got a laughin' place-
trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it.

According to an IGN article that reviewed GTA4, they said that the Ps3 had the graphical edge (but for that game specifically, the add-on episodes are Xbox-exclusive for now)

They gave it a slight edge.

The slight visual edge goes to PS3, but the 360 is no slouch.
As you said, the 360 version gets additional content. Have you heard the rumors that the DLC is going to be entire cities? They keep pointing to things like a plane ticket and a billboard that's advertising flights to San Andreas.
