  • Entourage!!!!

MAN, how did I mis this show! I always heard people talking about it, and my co-workers kept recommending it to me on Blockbuster Online, so I finally rented it a few weeks back. The show is great! Jeremy Piven is HILARIOUS. It's crazy that someone can be so quick with punch lines. His personality is one of a kind.

I'm waiting for part II of Season three to come in the mail, and I'm getting the shakes! Anybody else love this show as much as me?

It's a great show. I started with Season 2, and caught up later. The most recent season was not my favorite, only because the movie within the show was less compelling for me than Aquaman was.

One of the better shows on TV, and perhaps the last great original show still airing on HBO?

I love Entourage! I'm stuck though, because Season 4 isn't available on DVD yet.

        Better late!

I've been with the boys since the pilot, as have a few other MCers here. My brother-in-law ran into some of the guys in Vegas last year for Kevin Dillon's wedding, they had drinky drinks with them & he was the happiest boy in the world!

Maybe someday Vince will make "Matterhorn", (maybe Mrs. Ari could finally make that big screen leap) here's hoping!

Love, love, love the show and have from the very start (ok, it doesn't hurt that I think Adrian Greniere is quite the looker ).

Does anybody know when the next season starts cough*ALIASd*cough? I don't subscribe to HBO anymore, but might when this show comes back.

HBO announced that all seasons of the Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning comedy series "Entourage" is available for purchase and download on the iTunes Store. Starting today, "Entourage" seasons one and two are available for download for $1.99 per episode, season three arrives on August 18, and season four will be available on August 26. The highly anticipated premiere of season five airs September 7 on HBO.

"We're excited to release all four seasons of 'Entourage' on iTunes, allowing new and existing fans to prepare themselves for the premiere of season five," said Henry McGee, president of HBO Video.

"HBO programming has done incredibly well on the iTunes Store since launching in May and we look forward to bringing additional great programming to iTunes customers."

In May, HBO and Apple brought iTunes Store customers the Emmy Award-winning programs "The Sopranos," "Sex and the City," "Deadwood," and "Rome," as well as the critically acclaimed hits "Flight of the Conchords" and "The Wire."

Season five of "Entourage" will be available on the iTunes Store on the same day as DVD release.

Michael Phelps to appear on 'Entourage'

Olympic superstar Michael Phelps, who's already set to host Saturday Night Live, will make a cameo on the HBO comedy Entourage later this year.

Phelps scored the gig after literally stumbling upon the show's set while it was recently shooting in Manhattan. After learning how Phelps was a big fan, series producer Doug Ellin immediately wrote the gold medalist into the episode. He'll interact with Kevin Connolly's Eric Murphy in an episode scheduled to air later this year.

Entourage begins its fifth season Sept. 7

Entourage To The Skies On New JFK-LAS Route

Partners launch new direct route from JFK to Las Vegas with
                          star-studded media event to introduce
                          "Entourage Class" on "Entourage Air"

San Francisco - Aug. 25, 2008 - Virgin America today announced it is teaming up with HBO to launch the airline's new non-stop New York-Las Vegas flights and Season 5 of Entourage in high style with "Entourage Class" service on the new route, a star-studded in-flight sneak peek of Entourage Season 5, and HBO content fleetwide.

On September 4, the partnership kicks off with the unveiling of the newest member of Virgin America's fleet a co-branded aircraft named "Entourage Air." The inaugural flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS) will include an advance screening of the first episode from Season 5 of Entourage, premiering on HBO Sunday, September 7.

"With mood-lit cabins and the most advanced touch-screen entertainment system in the U.S., we are on a mission to reinvent travel and bring a little style and entertainment to the skies," said Vice President of Marketing for Virgin America Porter Gale. "HBO is known for redefining the genre and Entourage's hip, sexy vibe is a perfect match for our guests and for our new JFK to Las Vegas route in particular."

During the month of September, First Class guests on Virgin America's new non-stop JFK-LAS route will fly "Entourage Class"* and receive A-List perks like noise canceling headphones, champagne, Godiva chocolates, Kiehl's Since 1851 personal products, Altoids and "Entourage Air" blankets and eye masks.

Beginning on September 5, Virgin America also will begin offering HBO's award-winning programming cabin-wide on every flight, including the hit series Entourage.

"We are excited to launch "Entourage Air" in partnership with Virgin America. Entourage appeals to the same savvy, sophisticated consumer that flies Virgin America," said Courteney Monroe, Executive Vice President of Consumer Marketing at HBO.

On September 4, members of the Entourage cast and Virgin Group Founder and Chairman Sir Richard Branson will host a swanky, star-studded send-off party from a private hangar in New York, where "Entourage Air" will take center stage. Guests will walk the red carpet to board "Entourage Air" for two memorable firsts: the first-ever in-flight premiere of a cable or broadcast program in the domestic skies and Virgin America's first non-stop flight from JFK to LAS. Palms Casino Resort will host an after-party for Entourage Air guests at the Playboy Club that evening in Las Vegas.

The unveiling of "Entourage Air" will serve as the kickoff of a larger licensing partnership between HBO and Virgin America, allowing the airline to offer premium HBO content on RED, its interactive, in-flight entertainment system from Sept. 5, 2008 October 2009.

The opening episodes of "Entourage's" new season highlight how far the show has come: Having stumbled around through year one, the series gradually began grasping the power of story arcs, following its fictional star, Vincent Chase, as he climbed a fairy-tale staircase of (mostly) ups through the movie business. Yet the current year -- given Vince's maddening nonchalance in the past -- promises to be more intriguing, as he seeks to redeem himself after a disastrous foray into indie film. Although characteristically frothy, this could be the storyline that those sporadically frustrated by the show have waited for.

"Entourage's" inordinate popularity around Hollywood yields obvious dividends to HBO -- attracting stars and execs eager to demonstrate what good sports they are by playing warped versions of themselves.

The show's polished exterior, however, has seldom scratched the surface hard enough to find anything deeper underneath. Vince's career odyssey back from "Medellin" could provide just that -- the season-long hook to make a show already on Hollywood's A-list match that with an actual A-game.
