I liked the potato head couple in the firestone tire commercial. It reminded me of Toy Story. Angry eyes.

Jack Box getting hit by a bus. This ad campaign is brilliant.

Also love all the Clydesdale horse commercials.

I kinda liked the GE commercial with the Scarecrow. Very up-to-date.

Doritos Crystal Ball had me laughing the hardest.

Coca-Cola Picnic was so perfect I wanted to cry.

Made me laugh because it had a lady on a walrus was that one "hate my job" commercial. Boss doesn't respect the guy "Hey, Dummy."

The WTF commercial that I really just hate with all my soul... Sobe dancers.

Yeah the Doritos one made me laugh. The 3rd MacGrubber one for the diet drink was pretty funny too. The other 2 MacGrubber ones were lame. And I liked the Budweiser Clydesdale ones too.

                            Re: Super Bowl Commercials

The Doritos spot was memorable, and I think it was rated number one in the USA Today annual ranking.

Maybe it was because I remember the "Mean Joe" Greene Coca-Cola spot so well, where the kifd offers him a Coke and gets his jersey in return. My favorite was the Troy Polamalu take-off, where he rips the ad agency guy's shirt and tosses it to the kid. Classic.

I remember hearing Joe Greene say that in the making of the original spot, he had to chug-a-lug 14 bottles of Coke.

For the sake of his stomach lining, I hope it was just colored water!

                            -- Barry
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
