  • "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?"

I saw the premiere episode of this new show on BBC America, where Andrew Lloyd Weber is looking to cast the role of "Maria" in a new production of the Sound of Music.

And while I'm not the biggest fan of American Idol, or other similar "reality" shows, this one shows some promise.

Partially because I like Graham Norton, who is the "host" of the show.

    It airs Sunday nights.

This is my all-time favorite musical. And even if you don't watch this show, if you're a fan of TSOM the website has some interesting stuff you may want to look at.

Has anybody else here seen the show?
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Great answer I have never heard of that show before but it sounds really interesting, I LOVE Graham Norton too! I had no idea that they were putting TSOM on the stage?

You may have already known this, but under Rogers and Hammerstein it was a stage show before they made the movie with Julie Andrews.

Do you get BBC America? The contestants who've been "sent to Maria school" are on TV on Sunday nights. Don't know if they have full episodes online.
