  • Disney Movies channel free preview

Did anyone else see that there was supposed to be a free preview of the new Disney Channel this weekend? The instructions on ABC Family was that you're supposed to go to channel 1 and select the free preview. I tried it but I have TiVo and it didn't work. Does anyone know how to do this? Or at least give some input about what the channel is showing???

It is only for certain cable companies (Not mine, sadly).
Here is the web site:Disney Family Movies - Home
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

That is just not fair. They had a commercial on ABCFamily and I'm now cranky because I'm missing it. I hope someone from MiceChat gets to watch it and give us a run down.

        We have it on FIOS.

I gotta say, their selection of movies for the pre-view ain't exactly convincing me to pay for the service...

Apparently it's not available on my cable (Bright House) either. I just looked. Oh well.

It is available on Cox, which is my provider. However, I have TiVo though and you can't get any onDemand channels with TiVo. I can't even buy it if I wanted to.

I tried it. The movies offered were...
              Mary Poppins
              Tarzan
a 3 min. cartoon of Mater and Lightning McQueen
              101 Dalmations

I watched them all except 101 Dalmations. There was a few commercials before and during the movie explaining the service. It's an On Demand Channel. It said that you get 6 or 8 movies a month plus 2 new movies every week for $6.99/month. I personally don't think it's worth it. But then again I'm not the biggest fan of On Demand.
