    Re: Ghost Whisperer

I was so glad they fast forwarded 5 years immediately. I think "Oh, Melinda, where's your baby?" or having ghosts constantly looming around/near the thing would get kind of old after the first few. Starting the kid immediately as a 5 year (after the birth, of course), really just gets to the grit of why they added a child to begin with. I am interested to see where this "gift" will lead Melinda, the son, and her hubby to the end of the season.

Though I was happy to see that they hadn't recast Ned again

Ned is her friend's son. He was recast to make him older. I think it was 2 seasons ago now. I like both actors. It is always hard to adjust to a recast but I really like the older one now. Both are adorable.

I soo agree. It would be really hard to do the show with a baby and her always running off to help a ghost or whatever.

Next week's episode looks really good. It is just weird that her friend does not work in her store with her anymore. She is back in real estate or whatever. I loved it when they worked together and Melinda was able to run off and help a ghost and knew her shop was in good hands.

Yeah I hope the dynamic between them does not change now that they are not working together anymore. That would be so sad. I love their friendship and hope this does not change it to much unless for the better of course.

I am just not that sappy. I need good romance novels not sappy ones. Ghost Whisperer should do romance novels.
