Here on MiceChat, "Zonie" means a MiceChatter from Arizona.
Well, I've been a Zonie since long before I ever heard of the Internet, or before I even visited Arizona.
I've been a "Zonie" since the first time I was old enough to understand and fully enjoy Rod Serling's masterpiece. By then, it already in reruns.
Well, it was 50 years ago this week - in the fall of 1959...that this revolutionary show made its debut on CBS.
Yes, I know that there have been other threads devoted to favorite TZ episodes and the like.
There's always room for one more!
Especially on the 50th anniversary.
My all-time favorite - "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street". Martians experiment with human behavior by doing relatively simple things like cutting off power to a suburban neighborhood to see what happens.
