Re: 25 Days of Christmas!
They showed a live action remake of 'Year Without a Santa Claus' staring John Goodman as Santa and Delta Burke as Ms Claus.
Even though it's not on the list, I do hope they show it again this year. I thought it to be pretty good as far as the holiday specials go.Growing older is manditory
Growing up is however, optional

Re: 25 Days of Christmas!
Not too bad, I guess.
I'm glad someone got the rights to air "Once Upon A Christmas" and it's sequel, those were good movies, I remember when PAX tv first aired them.
Santa Baby was cute, but why a sequel to it, i'll never know.Press today is so concerned with cool vs. not cool that they're starting to forget good vs. bad. I'm not sure I'll ever be "cool", but I will always tirelessly strive to be "great". - Josh Groban

Re: ABC Family - 25 Days of Christmas!
I haven't seen those 2 Charlie Brown movies in ages!
Haven't seen Meet the Robinsons yet so looking forward to finally watching.
I wonder if Annie is the awesome early 80's version or the awful remake.

^^^^ Aimster, I recently watched Meet the Robinson's for the first time a month or so ago when it was on Disney Channel. It is pretty good. I especially hope imagineers look to it for inspiration for Tomorrowland attractions. Not necessarily MtR attractions, but ideas to make futuristic attractions.

Love the 80s version too,(with Aileen Quinn as Annie and Carol Burnett as Ms. Hannigan)! But I am pretty sure it will be the 1999 remake, with Victor Garber as Daddy Warbuck and Cathy Bates as Ms. Hannigan, since that one takes place at Christmas and is by Disney.

Re: ABC Family - 25 Days of Christmas!
I'm kind of confused by some of their choices like Harry Potter, Cars, Incredibles, Meet the Robinsons, etc. I don't really see those as Christmas-y. I can kind of get behind the family theme but still I think it's a stretch.
Here's a link to the actual schedule for the actual 25 days, not just the countdown or whatever they have on the website: http://www.abcfamilymedianet.com/doc...sRelease09.pdf
Looks like they're premiering The Santa Clause 3 (which I figured they would this year) and Unaccompanied Minors (I'm really not 100% sure what this movie is)
The Pixar Short collection is played a couple times
There's also like 3 new original movies... which are always subpar so we'll have to see.
Anyway, looking forward to it. I'm a nerd and I've been ready to celebrate christmas for too long. I might have watched Ernest Saves Christmas today... maybe *shifty eyes* :P

And this weekend NNL and I went to Target and bought some Christmas decorations! In fact, the Hallmark holiday tapper for this year is already proudly displayed on our mantle.
Bring it Christmas!It's a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah...Tip for Today!

Really looking forward to the actual 25 days of Christmas programming more than some the countdown's schedule.

Bring it Christmas!ditto
We were at Hallmark last Saturday at 8 AM to get this years tapper elf. The manager told us that they only were getting a very limited quantity (12) and we should get there early. By 8:30 they were all gone!
Christmas decorations have started going up here the week and half before Halloween, at least the village since that takes a couple of weeks to come together. Almost done now just need to add the landscaping! And I thought I was the only one who keeps at least on CD in the car year round.

OM topic, I am excited for the new lame and cheesy movies. That is what Christmas is all aboutGood morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
