I have to agree with you. I couldn't decide between the Island of Misfit Toys and the Miser bros. However in the end, Shirley Booth's spunky Mrs. Claus was my tie breaker.

This thread is making me a bit nostalgic.

Here's the Norelco stop motion commercial from the late 70's that use to play when CBS use to air Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer during prime time.

    Ah the memories...

I voted Rudolph. Gotta love Burl Ives as the snowman!

Santa Claus is Comin' to Town is my pick.

Rudolph is a classic and The Year Without a Santa Claus is enjoyable too, but I feel the song score and story of "Comin' to Town" is the best.

So far I'm the only one (which I figured I would be) but I really love Jack Frost. It's such a cute story. Rudolph's probably second as it's the one I remember most from my childhood.
Heatmiser/Snowmiser is one of the catchiest songs ever though
Actually I happen to be a big fan of Jack frost as well..I always feel bad for him when at the last moment when he has gotten everything required to stay human, the girl marries the knight.

I have to go with Rudolf and the Island of Misfit Toys. I'm always for the underdogs.

My favorite Rankin Bass, Christmas special is Year Without a Santa Clause.

How can anyone not love the miser brothers?
