If you're ever going to order these on DVD or Blu-ray in your entire life, it's probably the time to do it.

Anyway, I'm SO looking forward to the season premiere on February 2nd. Boy, it will be sad to see this amazing show end, but I cannot wait to see how they tie it all together! All the stuff with Jacob and his mysterious opponent fascinates me, and I think season 6 is going to change the game yet again in most marvelous ways.

BTW, it'd be awesome if we can keep spoilers - including stuff from promos and press releases - in spoiler tags.

EDIT: And no, I'm not an Amazon employee or anything like that. I just thought it was such an amazing deal that I couldn't NOT mention it for any fans of the show who don't know about the deal.

I'm really looking forward to the final season. :clap: I love that each secret revealed thus far has been well thought out and equally well played. I'm intrigued as to how they're going to wrap it all up.

Wow...my Blu-ray set arrived today. 48 hours ago, I had no idea I was going to be buying every episode of my favorite show, let alone in a format I'm completely new to...yet here it is, sitting in my lap. As a famous button once said, "That was easy."

the series actually left a lot of unanswered questions: for instance, where are all the other foundation headquarters and/or research stations (america, europe, etc)?

and will we see this in the season opener, or will they wait for the final episode?

For those of you with Netflix, if you have a PS3, Xbox, "Watch it Now" device, you can now watch all of the seasons on your TV. Or if you don't, you can watch them all on your computer.

We have them all in our queue, but are just starting at Season 4 due to not having enough time to go through all of the seasons before the new season starts.

I am going to be interested to watch the entire series after the finale' to see if there is anything from past episodes that will come to light.

ni_teach, I am personally sticking with my theory that Faux Lock = Man in Black = Smokey. Beyond that, I don't know who or what Smokey is beyond the physical/spiritual manifestation of judgement. Jacob is redemption. I'm probably not the only one who thinks this, but that is my theory (guess).
Also, I know we didn't discuss it as it happened, but who else was thrilled about the statement the press secretary about the State of the Union Address pre-empting the season premier?!

I agree. Although I must admit, there are inconsistencies I'm having trouble understanding. For instance - just thought of this today. Widmore and friends seem to be affiliated with Jacob's mysterious enemy. After all, Widmore tries to get John (and the O6) to get back to the Island, saying that there's a war coming, and the wrong side will win if he doesn't get back. Locke does get back (in a coffin), Jacob's enemy assumes his form, and Jacob is finally killed as a result. Then there's Ilia's group, clearly working for Jacob - they make similar statements about Widmore's people. So it seems like Widmore is allied with the man in black. BUT - and it's a big BUT - if Widmore and Jacob's enemy are together, and if Smokey is affiliated with Jacob's enemy, why was Smokey willing to attack Widmore's mercenaries in "The Shape of Things to Come"?

I cannot wait for this season. And watching all these earlier episodes in stunning Blu-ray quality isn't helping.

Off the top of my head, I don't know for sure. The show will most likely end in May (barring any unseen future pre-empts). I go on EW.com and read Doc Jensen and the Ausiello files and I also go on Watch With Kristen (although she's been revealing some minor spoilers, so I've been staying away from her stories). You could go on another Lost fan site, but again be wary of spoilers if you'd rather not know.
With it's new timeslot, Lost will be going up against American Idol (surprise), The Biggest Loser and Glee this season. So DVR wisely

Two weeks!

There's this new Lost band, taking inspiration from many the Harry Potter "Wizard-rock" bands.

They're writing songs about the show from the perspective of the characters. Definitely worth checking out.
