His new book on partnerships is pretty much all they talked about, they barely even mentioned Disney

Oh, never mind. I wanted to see if he would admit to trying to ruin Disneyland.

well it was a very short segment, and the reason he was there to promote his book. in his defense, he did talk about what he missed about working for Disney and talked about his partnership with Frank Wells.

Sometimes people forget that he did other things than work at Disney...as a businessman I respect him. As a visionary...no.

Yeah, it's interesting the he writes a book about partnerships, and how important they are in business, because when his partnership with Wells came to a tragic end, so did the "golden years" of the Eisner legacy. When Eisner was left on his own, so did the creativity at Disney.

And he probably told them before hand .... "Don't ask questions regarding my tenure at Disney."

If you don't - Then the next time Tomorrowland is remodeled, you will see a land barren of any "Peoplemover" type attraction.

just posted on the Destination D Live Coverage:

Micheal Eisner had his 14 year old son pick the projects. In one day they approved Star Tours, Splash Mountain and Captain EO.
..And Indy a couple years later. At least we have this to thank him for.

DL hasn't exactly gotten that same amount of attention since then!

Not really. They did ask him about his time at CEO, that's when he explained the things he missed and didn't miss.

The fun game in town before the book came out was to have a meal with someone who had experienced Michael's management style firsthand. You'd wait until they had a mouthful of food, then say "Hey y'know that Michael's writing a book about partnerships?" ...and watch how far they spewed the mouthful.

Rumor is that Jeffrey horked a half-chewed chunk of smoked salmon 14' 5" in the Dreamworks commissary.
