I don't like the AT&T commercial where a spider shows up on the smart phone display and a lady gets up and starts screaming like there's no tomorrow while a man breaks the phone with his shoe; I have to dive for the remote and mute it. Also the commercial where there's a man squashed by a big boulder holding a bag of chips, he gets one and bites into it so that someone will hear him and a rescuer is lowered from a helicopter and takes the bag of chips without rescuing him. That's so mean.

Wondering the same thing. I checked to see if this thread was started in 2002 or something.

If I'm fast forwarding through the commercials I'll sometimes see were we live flash by.
So I'll stop and see what part they shot on the street.
Current commercials that feature our street.

State Farm Insurance with the Falcon.
Parts of the J-Lo Fiat commercial
And numerous car commercials.

If your familiar with the Micheal Jackson music video for Stranger in Moscow, that's our street as well.

We see our street show up in Movies too. Really takes me out of the film when I see my street trying to pass for Philadelphia, New York, or San Francisco. It's very odd when I walk out of my building and see either a fake NY subway station or a Bart station that wasn't there before. Or it's snowing in 80 degree weather in September.

Only in downtown Los Angeles.

It's like they don't even try anymore (TV and movies). Anytime there is either the dark blue corner street sign or the overhead lighter blue street sign, I always try to figure out where they are.

I agree with those pet and childrens cancer commercials! Those are awful. Just so sad. But lately there is ONE commercial that makes me die a little bit every time I hear it or god forbid, see it. It's this State Farm commercial with this stupid *** Jerry Newman guy who drove his car up a pole and starts crying. I always want to jump through the TV and strangle that guy. And they play it ALL THE TIME!

That stupid playschool "Smart trike" commercial... It erks me...
Also that chilli's commercial sooo creepy... I mean look at it!

my newly hated commercial is the geico squealing pig on the zip line. NOT. FUNNY. i just mute it though, i don't change it.

and if you're in southern california, any casino morongo commercial. such awful, awful advertising.
