    New Disney online streaming

    So I know this isn't Disneyland but this is interesting and cool news!

    My aunt works for Disney and she happens to be working on a Disney Netflix type of thing. Netflix lost a lot of Disney rights because of a Disney and Stars conflict. But my aunt said they are creating their own online steaming that will allow you to watch all types of Disney movies, specials, tv shows and more! Just thought I would share this will you all!       I wonder if that means that it will be the only way to stream the Marvel movies when the thing goes live.

        It's possible.

        This isn't exaclty new news.

        Because of profit sharing agreements and cuts into home video sales all content creators are looking for new distribution channels. Their net reeunue has been hurt by companies like netflix that strive to have the newest movies, and companies like redbox which does the same.

        Since online distribution is simple to do, content creators are considering partnering or going alone to skip the middlemen.

          Damn now we have to sign up for another Online streaming thing? This news is horrible! God I wish they would just be on Netflix like everything else.

            Exactly right. Disney signed its streaming deals with Netflix and Amazon last fall.

              Is the OP talking about Disney Studio All Access? Cus that has been added as a "trailer" on DVD's for awhile now.

                  Cool..its Ipad compatible..hopefully its nto too much money
                  will this mean the libraries for iTunes will disappear?
                  also.. looks like DMR will combine with this soon too.
