I've never seen this show before, but I am definitely interested because I became a fan of Gordon's with "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" and the "F Word" shows on BBC America. I know I can check the website, but what is the general premise of this show?

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
It's a competition to find the best chef, who then wins a head chef position at a restaraunt.
They are split into teams, and are given challenges to complete. Gordon is always hard on them, and nothing but perfection is expected.
Tune in tonight Barry, you will not be disappointed!
I love this show! I've watched all seasons to date, and also Top Chef - I find Hells Kitchen a lot more animated than Top Chef, mainly due to the man, Chef Ramsay - he's amazing. (The show could also be called at times "bosses from hell"). The contestants on Hells Kitchen don't seem to be as experienced as those on Top Chef, perhaps by design. Can't wait!
hahaha i thought you were talking about my cooking being bad or something. Cause when i cook? its hell alrighty.
Thanks for the heads up Gina ill check it out !
Not interested, based on the advertisements. Hockey is on, anyway (but might be over by the time this is on). Wife watches Top Chef. I think that's plenty of cooking game shows for me.

heard the winner this year will also be at the green river resort and casino in henderson here
Loved it last night. I actually felt sorry for the asian guy (i think his name was aaron) who kept on crying .. guess the stress was getting to him

Agreed. None of these jokers look like they could hang with the folks on Top Chef. But Next Food Network Star also started it's new season on Sunday night. Very tame compared to HK or TC, but they have quality contestants as well.
That was wonderful! Bravo! I loved that! Ah, that was great! Well, it was pretty good. Well, it wasn't bad. Uh, there were parts of it that weren't very good though. It could have been a lot better. I didn't really like it. It was pretty terrible. It was bad. It was awful! It was terrible! Take 'em away! Boo! Boo!

I love "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" when it's on BBC America, where he rescues failing restaurants ande chefs in the UK with his own style of "advice". I don't know how long the show actually ran over there. They keep re-running the same few episodes when it's on here.
