Season 2 started last night.

I just love this show!!

I was kinda sad at the end though I thought for sure everything was ok. Then they threw that curveball in.

I know right! It's incredibly sad that she never got to marry him. Although I must admit after the 5th scene of seeing them together, I started fast forwarding. :/

The rest though was brilliant. LOL The little leprechaun of fashion? Hilarious! I do have one complaint though, if Amanda is going to BE fat, at least make the suit look believable. :lol:

I love ugly betty and so far this season is as good as the last. as far as the fat suit goes, it's supposed to be exagerated because it's really a farce not to be taken seriously. I loved how they handled her sister but knew from the beginning that he had died and she was just fantasizing. from what I have heard, this season is going to be just as wild and crazy as last. so i am truly looking forward to it

Gosh, do I loove this show! I love the chemistry that Daniel and Betty have, and I think abc did a great job with casting. I love that so many different types of people are represented, and I think having Justins character on the show is a GREAT step forward for network television. I love the fact that his family accepts and embraces him for who he is, and don't try and make him something he's not! This season should be exciting!!

I love Ugly betty too! However I had Bible Study last night so I haven't watched it yet. But I'm soooo excited for this season!!

but it still made me tear-up at the end. Quite the surprise with Alexis's waking comments, should be interesting . I love how they've developed Daniel's character too, he was such a jerk at the beginning.

Wow totally sucker-punched by last nite's episode..... this is totally my favorite show. I ate some quesadillas before watching just to get into the mood

And I am so in love with Michael Urie, who plays Mark on the show (Wilhelmina's queeny assistant). He's even more beautiful in HD! (As is Betty's accountant)

Henry is such a cutie, I love that Betty and him play off each other intelligently, it's adorable to watch.

The opening sequence was awesome, I love the tacky spanish soap opera. :lol:

I admit it, I was crying at the end also. I think part of the crying was about the fact that I liked someone that reminds me of Henry and that is no longer.

I too am a huge fan - my mom said that I had to watch this show around Christmas time last year - I locked myself in my office for 2 days and watched it all on abc.com!!!

I love how off beat this show is! I can't wait for the rest of the season - and hey, whatever happened to 2 hour season premieres??? I really wanted to see more last night.

I agree. Eric Mabius (Daniel) is a TOTAL HOTTIE... although I didn't really notice his attractive-ness until he started to be nice to Betty..
I watched the telenovela "Betty la fea" in my AP spanish class my senior year of high school (the teacher was having a difficult pregnancy, so she just sort of had us take it easy), so when the Americanized version came out, I had to watch!!!!

Finally watched the show this afternoon. What a great show. I loved how they had so many cliff hangers at the end of the season and that they started up three weeks later.

I called that ending right at the beginning. I didn't realize they would drag it out until the end though. Very sad.

I loved that the wife punched Wilhamenia right in the eye :lol:"The police will be here in three minutes." "I only need one." Wham!

Well, what did everyone think of last nights show??
What do you think of Betty's choice with her dads situation??

I think for now, she is doing the right thing.. not telling Daniel isn't exacly LYING to him, and it seems to be what is best for her at the moment.. I just have a feeling it's going to come back to bite her in the butt later...
I love the relationship Mark and Justin are developing..
I'm glad to see Hilda a little further along in the grieving process..

That was so sad and touching. When he told the clerk he was nothing like his dad and then later on took the basketball to keep as a memory it makes me worry that they are going to try to have Justin become all 'sporty' and 'tougher'. So that he thinks he is being like his dad. I like Justin just the way he is, sometimes I think he is the smartest one in his family.

As we have just gotten into this show (watched all of season 1 in about a week) I have to say I'm loving this. I LOVE Mark and Willie's chemestry together. Throw in Amanda and they are just wickedly fun. Although I always knew Mark was a nice guy his exchange with Justin last week just proved it.

I also hope they don't try and change Justin. He is who he is, and that's just fine.
