  • The George Lopez Show

Anyone else here a fan of the George Lopez zhow? I became a fan just recently through the re-runs on Nick-at-Nite.

I think the show is hilarious and my favorite characters are Benny and Ernie.

Everytime you think Benny is going to be sensitive, she says something brutally honest and pops open a cold one .

I never watched it when it was new, but my parents did. I started watching it when they started airing it on Nick@Nite since I was already watching Home Improvement.

I'm a really big fan now, it was a really well done series. Very funny.

I used to watch it when it was first-run. I haven't been watching the reruns. I thought it was a pretty decent/funny show.

She was the best character on the show. Funny thing is, the actress who portrays Benny is soooo nice. I got to meet them all (except the daughter) when I saw a taping two years ago and she was the nicest person there.
Seems to be that the hard *** characters are the nicest people in real life. I once saw a taping of That 70's Show six years ago and the father Red Foreman was the nicest person there. All the kids were very Hollywood but the adults were great to the audience.

Same here. I watched it all the time when it was on ABC. I try to watch them in reruns though. Luckily, I rated it high on my TiVO so it'll record them for me under recommendations.

I am not surprised the Belita Moreno is a nice woman in real life 626. I mean, it's weird because you can tell that she is very humble even though she is playing an uptight woman on the show.

Yeah the whole cast was pretty nice. I knew one of the Assistant Directors for the show and he was telling them who I was (his childhood best friend's niece) and they were all talking about how they were out drinking and having lots of fun when my uncle had went to see a taping of the show earlier on. It was over two years ago when I saw the taping but I still remember it very well. It was one of those nights I'll never forget.
